Terms and Conditions for all NextGoal Events

Terms and Conditions

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way, in any NextGoal (NG) programs, events, or activities, I _____[NextGoal event member]_______ understand, acknowledge, and agree to the following:

Physical Fitness and Compliance:

  1. I certify that I am physically fit and able to participate in the program, event, or activity.
  2. I agree to comply with all rules, regulations, terms, and conditions for participation, and will inform NG officials of any safety concerns.

Assumption of Risks:

  1. I acknowledge the risks of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and property loss associated with my participation.
  2. I knowingly assume all risks, both known and unknown, arising from negligence or other factors, and take full responsibility for my participation.

Special Considerations Concerning COVID-19:

  1. I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk of exposure during NG programs, events, or activities.
  2. I agree not to participate if unwell and certify my health status before each event.
  3. I consent to potential disclosure of my COVID-19 exposure status as required by law.

Waiver and Release of Liability:

  1. I waive any and all claims against NG and its affiliates, sponsors, and participants for damages, injuries, losses, and expenses.
  2. I agree to indemnify and hold NG harmless from any claims incurred by NG related to my participation.

Medical Treatment and Content Release:

  1. I consent to medical treatment during any program, event, or activity and release NG from responsibility.
  2. I grant NG the right to use my likeness, voice, and sounds for promotional purposes.

Waiver Construction:

  1. This waiver shall be construed broadly to provide a release to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.

Acknowledgment of Understanding:

  1. I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver, giving up substantial rights knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily without inducement or duress.

Code of Conduct:

The Participant’s Code of Conduct applies to all NG participants, promoting ethical and sportsmanlike conduct.

  1. Participants shall not engage in derogatory comments, harassment, physical abuse, or illegal activities.
  2. Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in penalties, including warnings, ejections, suspensions, or removal from the league.

Participant Responsibilities:

  1. All participants must be on the roster and sign the waiver before participation, or be subject to game forfeiture or disqualification.

Miscellaneous

NG reserves the right to change the Participant’s Code of Conduct without notice.

By participating in any NextGoal event, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this waiver and release of liability, and I sign it knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily without any inducement or duress.
